Project Manager

12 month W2 contract

Job Description:

Responsible for the coordination and completion of project/program. Oversees all aspects of projects. Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of project/program. Prepares and presents reports for leadership regarding status of project/program.

May require a bachelor's degree and 4-7 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.

Typical Day in the Role:

- Working with multiple stakeholders (Stakeholder Management)

- Project Management is very important – working with different functions within team externally, providing value & moving things forward in specific projects/programs

- High emphasis on stakeholder piece & general project management skills is important

- Be comfortable with data and reporting. Don’t need to be the best analyst or create extensive reports but be able to follow guidelines they have to build those pieces out and not be a stretch by any means

- Past experience with voice of customer/feedback programs and survey creation is not required, but a plus

- Want someone who is comfortable with tasks. More emphasis on project management piece and less emphasis on program management piece.

- Have a balance of doing things that are operational and sometimes broader and rely on soft skills of working with stakeholders.

- Looking for someone with 4-7 years of experience with Project Management experience.

- The project they are working on is Beta program leading up the launches of devices and futures. This person can be involved in assisting in Beta programs/future launches, putting together surveys to assess devices/data they receive, putting together actionable insights/recommendations on data collected.

- Projects geared towards improving internal team processes/streamlining things.
