- Location: 95% Remote / Quarterly Visit to Norfolk, VA
- Contract Layout: Est. "6 Month Contract to Perm Hire"
- Contract Rate: $75.00 - $85.00 / Hourly
- Starting Salary at Perm Hire: $155,000 - $175,000 Benefits
- REQUIREMENTS ***
- Secret Clearance Eligibility (We Can Sponsor)
- Sec CE
- 4 Years of DevOps Experience
- AWS GovCloud Experience
- DoD / Navy Experience
- Kubernetes Experience
- CI/CD Pipelines, IaC, & Automation Experience
- Extensive experience with Amazon Web Services, including core services, security best practices, and architecture design
- Proficient in Microsoft EntraID for identity and access management within cloud environments
- Deep understanding of DoD cloud policies, goals, objectives, and architecture development
- Proven experience in DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, automation, and continuous monitoring
- Expertise in containerization and orchestration using Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with tools like Ansible and Terraform for automating infrastructure deployment and management
- Excellent skills in Shell scripting, Python, and PowerShell
- Proficient with GitHub Enterprise for version control, collaboration, and repository management
- Knowledge of Cloud IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS solutions
- Skilled in developing clear and concise technical documentation and translating operational requirements into technical designs
- Oversee containerization efforts and manage Kubernetes clusters to ensure scalable and reliable application deployments
- Design and execute the migration of on-premise workloads to AWS, addressing challenges and learning curves associated with the transition
- Mentor junior team members and collaborate effectively with team members to achieve project goals and objectives
