Senior Product Design Director

Overview
At Apex Systems, we're looking for a Senior Product Design Manager to drive the creation of user-centered design solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of user experience strategies and the ability to lead cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in UX design, with 5 years of experience in creating inclusive digital experiences that meet WCAG 2.2 AA standards. We value candidates with knowledge of assistive technologies and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly.

Responsibilities:

• Presents data from site visits in ways that can be used to drive design.
• Manages functional partnerships and collaborates with partners in the value chain to achieve desired outcomes.
• Defines the key problems to be addressed in research projects and reviews the relevance and usefulness of findings against research objectives.
• Builds and maintains customer relations to understand customer requirements/problems and creates customer journey touchpoints to anticipate product enhancements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in UI/UX design, graphic design, visual communication, product design, or related area.
• 5 years of experience in UI/UX, interactive and visual design, electronics art, multimedia design, or related area.
• Knowledge of web content accessibility guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards and assistive technologies is highly valued.
