Senior Project Manager at Apex Systems

Overview: Apex Systems is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Project Manager to join our growing client in Northern Colorado. This role offers the opportunity to lead high-impact projects in a collaborative and innovative environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Lead and manage projects related to customer front-end offers/payment platforms, ERP development, and compliance and controls.
- Stakeholder Communication: Facilitate clear and effective communication with project sponsors, steering committee members, and team members.
- Resource Management: Estimate resources, submit budget proposals, and manage multi-million-dollar budgets and monthly forecasting.
- Planning and Execution: Develop full-scale project plans, track timelines and milestones, and use appropriate planning tools.
- Risk Management: Proactively manage project scope changes, identify potential issues, and devise contingency plans.
- Relationship Building: Cultivate and grow business relationships to ensure effective adoption of business solutions.
- Reporting: Deliver status reports and presentations to the steering committee, and conduct project postmortems to capture lessons learned.
Experience and Qualifications:
- 7-10 years of project management experience.
- Strong SAP experience, particularly in credit management, CML, or SAP AR Financials.
- Proven track record of managing large implementations and customer-facing projects.
- Expertise in both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
- Experience with software development initiatives and multiple releases.
- Excellent budget management and forecasting skills.
- Strong executive communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing deadlines.
- Ability to learn multiple processes and support various positions, working closely with BAs, business stakeholders, and technical teams.
- Assertive personality with excellent communication skills.
