Job Description:
As a Software Developer Engineer in Test (SDET), you will be responsible for the quality in a project to modernize the UI of an existing web application. You will collaborate with Product Owners, software engineers, and other SDETs to evaluate product requirements, identify test cases, write and run automation tests, and create and maintain quality related documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
Required Qualifications:
Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in software testing, with at least 2 years in automation testing.
Technical Skills:
o Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
o Strong knowledge of automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG).
o Experience with CI/CD tools and version control systems (e.g., Git).
o Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured).
Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Cloud Platforms: Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Agile Methodologies: Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
Mobile Testing: Experience in mobile application testing and automation.

- Test Automation Development: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Playwright, Selenium, JUnit, or similar frameworks.
- Test Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive test plans and test cases based on functional and technical specifications.
- Continuous Integration: Integrate automated tests into continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Bamboo, or equivalent.
- Defect Tracking and Reporting: Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
- Collaboration: Work closely with software developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure thorough testing coverage.
- Code Reviews: Participate in code reviews to ensure testability and adherence to quality standards.
- Performance Testing: Conduct performance and load testing to assess software performance under varying conditions.
- Test Data Management: Create and manage test data for automated tests.
- Documentation: Prepare detailed documentation for automated test cases, procedures, and test results.
