Apex Systems is partnering with a Multinational technology Company looking for a Software Development Engineer. who will act as first level support and development for all incoming production software application issues dealing with merchandising applications.
- You will be Updating Badges locations and visual. Current project is consolidating badging issues into this teams ownership.
Employment Type: Contract 12 months with a high likelihood to extend or convert
Location: Onsite in YOU MUST BE ABLE TO WORK ONSITE THE LOCATION _- New York Midtwon Area

Hourly Pay Rate: $60

Primary responsibilities include
- Developing monitoring solutions, troubleshooting/debugging and implementing the fix for internally developed code (Perl, C/C , JAVA)
- Performing SQL queries, improving our systems that gather metrics on our features, updating, tracking and resolving technical challenges.
- Responsibilities also include working alongside development on Corporate and Divisional Software projects, updating/enhancing our current software, automation of support processes and documentation of our systems
MUST HAVES
- Perl, C/C and/or Java. Strong preference for JAVA
- Mason, Perl CGI
- Oracle SQL
- HTML, UNIX/LINUX
- A Computer Science or equivalent technical degree
