Description:
This resource will leverage our database platforms, tools and data sources to collect, analyze, interpret and present Network & Field Operations data to end users. This resource will be responsible for prioritizing requests and defining the solution for capturing data and working with our business partners to create analysis and visualization. This role requires an individual who is driven to discover, as well as someone who will communicate well with Engineering, Construction and Field Leaders and Technology Delivery teams. This resource should be experienced working directly with large volumes of data using SQL and tools such as Alteryx, Toad and Tableau. Our business changes quickly so the ability to explore and understand new data and problems is critical, as well as the motivation to remain current on the latest technology and tools. This resource will also work directly with a variety of internal users including senior executives where it will be required to communicate complex information in a consumable manner for decision making.
Role Responsibilities:
Develop and lead the effort to collect, compile and analyze data, from various structured and unstructured sources, to perform statistical and usage analyses.
Develop data requirements to support new products and new insights
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Business, Technology and/or Finance
Experience with SQL is key as well as a desire to build new skills
Experience:
Experience with creative and analytical thinking - knowledge of how to ask and answer questions with data Experience with
7 years of data analytics experience working with a variety of data sources
4-5 years of experience working with Visualization Tools, i.e. Tableau
Experience working in a large data environment doing SQL development.
Experience managing data requirements/development projects with a close attention to detail and high-quality performance preferred.

- Use data and business knowledge to find new ways to answer key business questions.
- Work with large amounts of data, gathering, cleansing, analyzing and summarizing. Strong SQL skills are a must.
- Develop analytical strategies to solve business problems - this involves understanding the business problem, identifying relevant data, gathering and summarizing data meaningfully and applying appropriate statistical analysis to identify causal relationships and predict future outcomes. Deliverables must be high-quality with strong attention to detail.
- Use SQL to access our databases and work with data
- Use Tableau, Toad, Excel, Alteryx and other tools to create visualizations and reports to explore and explain data.
- Contribute to our constantly-evolving data layer by creating new ways of understanding our business.
- Create dashboards and automated reports on key business metrics.
- Present insights through formal and informal presentations and written reviews.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Business, Technology and/or Finance
