Job Description :
- Develop and operationalize enterprise database migration solutions using GCP native tools (e.g., Database Migration Service) and third-party resources (e.g., Striim, iSpirer).
- Automate database migration processes to achieve optimal performance.
- Conduct full technical discovery, identify pain points, business and technical requirements, and perform proof-of-concept testing for new migration solutions.
- Assist in designing cloud architectures to migrate large-scale enterprise data sets from on-premise or other clouds to GCP.
- Support application teams in implementing off-the-shelf migration tools or developing custom migration solutions.
- Provide migration strategy and best practice guidance to enterprise customers.
- Troubleshoot issues during and post-database migration in collaboration with application teams.
