Job Description:

Apex Systems has an opening for a Sr. IT Project Manager with a client in South Florida. The Sr. IT Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing multiple IT infrastructure projects stemming from our client's Mergers and Acquisitions- Projects will span from infrastructure (Network, Systems, Cloud, Security) and Application migrations and integrations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT project management, with at least 10 years of experience, including a minimum of 5 years specifically in IT infrastructure projects. Exposure to mergers and acquisitions (M&A) is a plus.

Location: Location: Coral Gables, FL; Plantation, FL; or Juno Beach, FL (Onsite 5 days a week, with a minimum of 1-2 days per week in Juno Beach, FL)

• This is an onsite position (5 days). Candidates for this position have the flexibility to work from any of the 3 office location mentioned. If not working from Juno Beach location, candidates should expect to visit the Juno beach location 1-2x per week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, execute, and manage IT projects, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
• Work closely with Mergers & Acquisitions and IT leadership to develop project plans, timelines, and budgets.
• Monitor project progress and adjust plans as needed.
• Coordinate and lead cross-functional teams, including internal and external stakeholders.
• Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery.
• Oversee the implementation of networking, cloud, and network security solutions.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
• Provide regular project status updates to senior management and stakeholders.
• Foster a collaborative and innovative project environment.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT project management, with proven track record managing successful IT infrastructure projects.
• Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
• Proven experience in managing projects related to networking, systems, cloud, and network security.
• Exposure to mergers and acquisitions (M&A) is highly desirable.
• Experience with Infrastructure integration/cutover projects is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• PMP or other relevant project management certification is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
