Your expertise in Java, cloud platforms, databases, CI/CD systems, and monitoring tools will be essential in driving our projects forward. Additionally, you will be responsible for ensuring high availability and reliability of our systems through strong production support and a focus on customer experience.
Skills Required:
- 7 years of experience in software development with a strong focus on Java.
- Incident Management: Respond to production incidents, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to restore service quickly.
- Monitoring and Alerting: Develop and maintain comprehensive monitoring and alerting systems to detect anomalies and potential problems.
- Automation: Automate repetitive tasks, deployments, and infrastructure management to improve efficiency and reduce errors.
- Performance Tuning: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in applications and infrastructure.
- Collaboration: Work closely with developers, other engineers, and stakeholders to resolve issues and improve system reliability.
- Post-Incident Analysis: Conduct blameless postmortems to identify root causes and prevent future incidents.
- Security: Implement and maintain security best practices.
- Documentation: Create and maintain clear and concise documentation.
- SRE Principles: Help drive the adoption of SRE principles, including SLOs, SLIs, and error budgets.
Skills Preferred:
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to drive innovation within the team.
Experience Required:
- Proven experience with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) or other cloud services.
- Expertise in working with RDBMS such as PostgreSQL, SQL Server, etc.
- Strong experience with CI/CD systems such as Jenkins, Tekton, etc.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools like Dynatrace, Google Cloud Platform Logs, Grafana, Splunk, etc.
- Demonstrated experience in production support and incident management, with a focus on enhancing customer experience.
Experience Preferred:
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
Education Required:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Masters degree preferred.
Additional Information:
