JOB DESCRIPTION

Apex is seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager with strong consultative skills to act as a leader in the US & Canada

practice within Apex Systems' Solutions Delivery Organization. By joining our team, you will get an opportunity to join a world-class organization, apply project management methodology and provide leadership to implement SAP ERP solutions for our clients. We are seeking candidates who have the passion and dedication to help clients achieve their organizational goals and objectives. You must be highly motivated, and self-directed, be comfortable working in a very rapidly changing environment, and embrace ambiguity. The role will require a blend of project management, business analysis, change management, process engineering, and managing a team skill where you will need to work at both a strategic as well as a tactical level.

RESPONSIBLITIES

Manage day-to-day project activities, coordinate meetings, facilitate meetings, distribute meeting minutes, maintain action-item lists, facilitate decision-making, active problem solving, issue escalation, and proactively manage project risks, budget performance, invoice payments, etc.

Provide weekly project status updates on the project assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

8 years of SAP experience

Bachelors degree required.

MBA or a graduate degree is preferred.

Recent Project Management experience in a team-based professional services environment.

Experience in implementing or supporting SAP's products and related modules is preferred.

Experience managing different phases of implementation including Discovery, Design, Testing, and Go Live Phases of the project is preferred.

Experience with Global, Cross-Functional Virtual Team Management.

Experience in a Project Management capacity with at least 2 end-to-end implementations, preferably with SAP S/4HANA.

Strong attention to detail and proven data/analytical and process redesign skills, problem-solving, quantitative

reasoning, and workflow mapping skills preferred.

Industry experience in Energy, Food & Beverage, Distribution, Manufacturing, etc. is preferred.

PMP Certification or any other Project Management Training is preferred.

Excellent written and spoken communication skills, including the ability appropriately influence various audiences and levels of client management including risks and recommendations to project management.

Ability to communicate at the executive level and develop long-term relationships with executives and project sponsors.

Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize project activities using work plans and other project management tools.

Ability to demonstrate a high level of self-awareness to respond to all situations and people with poise, professionalism, and appropriate communication.

Willingness and ability to travel every week.

Work extended hours as necessary.
