Location: Hybrid, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday on-site in McLean, VA
Position Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Analyst to support a financial services client. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data warehouse/database concepts, relational database structures, research methods, sampling techniques, and system testing. This role requires demonstrable experience with automation processes using ETL tools and Python scripts, with EPM Automate experience being a plus. The candidate should have a solid understanding of API calls and REST API processes.

Position Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Analyst to support a financial services client. Responsibilities:
- Apply understanding of data warehouse/database concepts and relational database structures.
- Conduct research and utilize sampling techniques for system testing.
- Implement automation processes using ETL tools and Python scripts.
- Configure application code for Oracle EPM solutions, including Calc Scripts, Business Rules, and Data Management/Data Exchange Rules, specifically in the EPBCS space.
- Convert approximately 215 business rules/calc scripts and 66 input forms/business rules from the current G&A environment to the new setup.
- Support configuration of Hyperion calc scripts, business rules, and data management/exchange rules to accommodate changes required for Freddie Macs ERP solution.
- Ensure compliance with financial reporting standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- Proven experience in data warehouse/database concepts and relational database structures
- Demonstrable experience with automation processes using ETL tools and Python scripts
- Solid understanding of API calls and REST API processes
- Extensive experience in configuring application code for Oracle EPM solutions, particularly in the EPBCS space
- Experience with EPM Automate is a plus
- Knowledge of financial reporting standards
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
