Job Description:
Job Description: We are looking for a Supply Chain Analyst. This individual will provide a variety of support activity centered on inventory health management. This individual will use data from multiple sources to create meaningful reporting to drive actions that decrease supply chain cost and waste.
The individual will work closely with the Amazon supply chain team.
This role may also include communicating with vendors and members of the Amazon private brands team.
The candidate for this position must be highly organized, with the ability to track, resolve or escalate multiple issues at a time. As a Supply Chain Analyst, you will be responsible for maintaining inventory health reporting, creating data quality processes, and escalating exceptions.
Role Responsibilities
Continuously evaluate and improve processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and minimize waste
Maintain/update internal documentation for training and reference
Investigate discrepancies in order to gain resolution
Manage project status tracking and reporting from internal systems
Monitor exception reporting and action solutions with supply chain team
Build and enhance Excel reporting and progress trackers
Manage data quality process ensuring clean, consolidated reporting coming from multiple sources
Basic Qualifications
Strong problem solving and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Transportation, or Operations discipline
Strong analytical abilities, and high proficiency in Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) and SQL
2 years of supply chain experience
Preferred Qualifications
Analyst work background
3 years of driving process improvements experience
Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
