Position: Supply Chain Analyst - Air Cargo Operations
Location: Onsite - Erlanger, KY
Duration: 1-year Contract
Shifts: 3 openings, First 2 openings are 4 10-hour shifts - Fri-Monday: 9am-7pm; 6pm-4am
3rd position is Monday-Friday from 7am-3pm
Pay Rate: $26/hr.
Overview:
Our client is looking for a Supply Chain Analyst to support the Air Cargo Team with ACAR customers needing booking support, capacity management, a deep dive on operational irregularities, and/or to drive process improvement internally at Amazon sites and externally, with the customer's operations team.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor flights in Amazon's AIR network
- Track daily cargo shipments throughout Amazon's AIR network, identify errors at sites, and develop corrective solutions to implement
- Confirm shipment bookings for customers and audit reservations against internal Amazon systems
- Communicate with sites on upcoming shipments and provide updates to customers when required.
- Identify shipping trends between customers to streamline capacity adjustments and maximize Amazon package attainment
- Develop and recommend contingency plans for disrupted shipments to improve customer service and experience
- Create shipment orders for invoicing and Finance departments
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Logistics/Supply Chain/Operations discipline
- Nice to Have - knowledge of Aviation
- Basic Logical and Problem-Solving skills
- Basic analytical abilities Conceptual understanding of systems and processes
- NICE TO HAVE - Supply chain experience within Air Cargo or similar
