Job Description:
EMC Test Engineer- II
- Conduct electromagnetic compatibility testing on electronic devices and systems according to industry standards (e.g., FCC, IEC/EN 61000, CISPR32, ETSI standard and RF testing)
- Setup and operate EMI EMC testing equipment such as spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, oscilloscopes, EMI/EMC test equipment
- Perform radiated and conducted emissions and immunity testing on products.
- Analyze test results and ensure accuracy of test setups and test results.
- Run iterative tests to troubleshoot and find root cause.
- Document test procedures, results, and findings in detailed test reports.
- Travel to local test labs within 30 miles of facilities.
- Travel domestically to other third-party test labs to witness and facilitate testing.
- Related tasks surrounding Test and Measurement.
- Keep Lab in good working order.
