Job Description:
Apex Systems is looking to hire an ONSITE Technical Preparation Engineer for our client based out of Greensboro, NC. This assignment is anticipated to be a 3-month contract with strong potential for extension; however, Apex Systems cannot guarantee the length of this assignment. This will also have a first shift Monday-Friday schedule.
Responsibilities:
Education and Experience Required:
Knowledge of manufacturing/engineering systems (e.g., SPRINT, KOLA, DIS). Knowledge of product/manufacturing processes. Knowledge and experience in SAFe Agile. Knowledge of the Product Development process. Knowledge and experience in performance systems. Capacity to work with technical drawings and CAD.

Job Description:
Apex Systems is looking to hire an ONSITE Technical Preparation Engineer for our client based out of Greensboro, NC. This assignment is anticipated to be a 3-month contract with strong potential for extension; however, Apex Systems cannot guarantee the length of this assignment. This will also have a first shift Monday-Friday schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Implement solutions for manufacturing, customer, supplier, and project product issues, including investigation, root cause analysis, and collaboration with manufacturing and engineering design teams to create and implement product solutions.
- Develop and introduce solutions for new products.
- Provide Virtual Verification CAD support (CreoView, PDMLink/Windchill).
- Support product builds and launches.
- Act as a liaison between engineering and the production facilities, ensuring that manufacturing requirements are implemented into new product designs.
- Ensure production readiness and coordinate the implementation of new designs and changes into the manufacturing facilities.
- Participate in manufacturing teams on a global basis.
- Assure manufacturability, quality, and productivity of all new designs within the area of assignment, with an emphasis on accuracy and clear communication of product introduction.
- Adhere to internal and external standards, procedures, and processes.
- Assure compliance with all applicable manufacturing policies and procedures (Ergonomics, 6 Sigma, Packaging, Logistics, Standards, 5S, etc.) relating to the area of responsibility.
Education and Experience Required:
- Degree in Engineering with experience equivalent to 2 or more years of progressive automotive experience.
- OR a minimum of 8 years of applicable progressive automotive experience without educational requirements.
