Technical Program Manager (Gaming Console)
Location: Remote (Must be PST)
Duration: 1/21/25 - 6/30/25, opportunity to extend
Pay Range: $60/hr -$65/hr
Apex is hiring a TPM with firmware experience to work a remote contract role.
This position is open through 6/30/25 with potential for extension to 18 months.
While this role is remote, the candidate must meet PST CORE HOURS 9am -6pm, on Tuesday's candidate must attend team meeting with ASIA team 6pm-7pm
Typical Day in the Role
• Purpose of the Team: Interface with clients on technical and business issues from project initiation through delivery. Drive program/project schedules and status reports. Create and/or review multiple functional specifications that will be used as tools in making decisions as to how the product or service will be implemented. Provide Product Managers & Product Unit Managers with technical and/or analytical information. Organize cross functional activities ensuring the program/project is completed on schedule and within budget constraints.
• Key projects: This position will join our Gaming Accessories Firmware team of Technical Program Managers responsible to plan, coordinate implementation, and deliver firmware accessories programs. Experience with low-level firmware technologies for embedded systems will be necessary in order to understand requirements and define deliverables for the firmware development team. Experience managing technical consumer electronic programs will be necessary in order to know which other discipline teams to engage to coordinate end-to-end feature definition and delivery.
Candidate Requirements
• Years of Experience Required: 5-7 overall years of experience in the field.
• Degrees or certifications required: A bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering or equivalent is required to be eligible for this role.
• Disqualifiers: Emphasized the importance of candidates being honest about what they can and cannot do. Dishonesty or being untruthful about capabilities could disqualify a candidate.
