Job Title: Systems Administrator
Location: Remote (Local candidates preferred for occasional on-site needs) Plano, TX
Contract: 12 month
Pay: $45/hour
Job Description:
The ideal candidate will have experience with Windows Server 2016 and 2019, and some Linux knowledge is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support to offshore developers by following documentation.
- Manage change control pushes.
- Handle Level 1 and 2 tickets submitted by offshore developers after the help desk is closed.
- Escalate issues to the on-call personnel as needed.
- Clean up monitoring alerts from the day using SolarWinds.
- Utilize SNOW for ticket management on the Elevance side.
- Use EC11 for application pushes via the Manage Engine tool.
Top 3 Skill Experience Needs:
- System Administration: 3-7 years of experience.
- Windows Server 2016/2019: Proficiency in managing and troubleshooting.
- Independent Work: Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently.
Qualifications:
- Experience with Windows Server 2016 and 2019.
- Basic knowledge of Linux is a plus.
- Familiarity with SolarWinds and SNOW ticketing system.
