The Blueprint (Role Profile)
The Plating Technician operates chemical plating equipment in the chain manufacturing finishing process. The schedule is 1st shift working 4 days a week 10 hours a day Monday through Thursday 6 AM to 4 PM daily.

The Blueprint (Role Profile)
The Plating Technician operates chemical plating equipment in the chain manufacturing finishing process. The schedule is 1st shift working 4 days a week 10 hours a day Monday through Thursday 6 AM to 4 PM daily.
The Build (Responsibilities)
- Operate various types of finishing and powder coat equipment to produce the specified finish on chain, parts, and assemblies.
- Follow standard operating procedures or special instructions.
- Maintain proper amperage, speed, temperatures, and chemicals needed to meet specifications.
- Perform quality and thickness testing.
- Clean and flush tanks periodically.
- Performs preventative maintenance on equipment when required.
- Moves material to and from work area.
- Adheres to company policies and procedures to produce a quality product, including reporting non-conforming materials.
- Reports unusual conditions or questionable items to team lead or supervisor.
- Adheres to all safety rules and regulations.
- Keeps work area clean and orderly.
- Maintains accurate records as required.
- Performs other duties as requested, directed, or assigned by team lead or supervisor.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 2 years relevant experience preferred.
- Mechanical abilities and aptitude required.
- Prior forklift operator experience preferred.
- Able to work overtime (more than 40 hours per week) as required, including Fridays as needed.
- Stand, walk, bend, stoop, and crouch continuously.
- Lift, push, pull, and carry 50 pounds.
- Climb stairs and ladders.
