The Blueprint (Role Profile)
We are currently looking for a Machine Operator I to join our Lexington, SC plant to operate Computer Numerically Controlled (CNC) and conventional equipment, as well as, other industrial equipment to process parts and components for finished goods assembly. The incumbent will be follow established work instructions and processes, ensuring manufactured parts meet specifications.
The Machine Operator I will be report to a Production Supervisor, but will take daily direction from one of our Team Leads within the Machining department.
The Build (Responsibilities)
- Read and interpret bill of materials, blueprints, drawings and written instructions
- Operate CNC and conventional machining equipment to perform respective operation
- Use measuring equipment and gages to ensure manufactured parts meet specification
- Record data as it relates to productivity, first article inspections, and cell needs
- May assist with identifying and changing tooling, fixtures, etc. to perform a set-up
- Perform daily duties and responsibilities associated with 5S within respective cell
- Other duties as required to successfully perform the job
