The Blueprint (Role Profile)
Intern assignments are project-oriented, meaningful to the department, and allow for the opportunity to take responsibility for a major task. Each intern assignment consists of challenging projects with specific goals, providing opportunities for personal growth and development. The Jonesboro, AR Manufacturing Intern will work collaboratively with plant leadership, engineering, quality, and operations to prepare documentation for two new product development projects.
The Build (Responsibilities)
- Gain an in-depth understanding of the day-to-day operations within the site.
- Work on value-added projects and develop relationships with peers and leadership.
- Be exposed to different facets of the business, our products, and customers to gain practical experience.
- Review and update standard operating procedures, confirming SOPs are followed in production areas.
- Perform quality inspections on products throughout the production process, documenting findings.
- Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Review internal and external quality standards.
- Conduct internal audits and submit timely reports and corrective actions.
- Complete root cause analysis in support of resolving internal and external quality issues.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
