Job Summary :
We are seeking a dedicated and responsible Trash Truck Driver (Non-CDL) to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to operate a trash truck on residential routes to collect and dispose of waste materials in a timely and safe manner. You will work closely with other crew members and ensure that all services are carried out according to company standards.
Key Responsibilities :
- Drive and Operate Trash Truck : Safely operate a non-CDL trash truck on assigned residential routes, ensuring timely waste collection.
- Waste Collection : Assist with the loading, transport, and unloading of waste from residential areas.
- Adhere to Safety Guidelines : Follow all safety protocols while operating the vehicle and during the collection process, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Customer Service : Interact courteously with residents and address any questions or concerns related to waste collection services.
- Route Management : Ensure routes are completed within scheduled timelines and report any delays or issues to the supervisor.
- Truck Maintenance : Conduct routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck to ensure it is in proper working condition, including checking fluid levels, brakes, tires, and other components.
- Documentation : Maintain accurate records of waste collected, mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents or truck malfunctions.
- Team Collaboration : Work closely with waste collection team members to ensure efficient and effective service.
- Other job-related duties as assigned.
