Essential Job Responsibilities
- Perform scheduling for Equipment Team members and review the details of upcoming jobs with the Equipment Team
- Prepare and stage upcoming jobs according to the schedule, including ordering parts and retrieving necessary parts from existing inventory
- Assist with equipment area’s inventory
- Oversee modem services (start-ups, connection issues, and replacements)
- Assist with project quoting
- Work with the Customer Service team on a daily basis to keep the equipment projects running smoothly and answer questions as needed
- Correspond with Sales Team members on clarification of work requirements
- Oversee Equipment Team’s company-issued van cleanliness and on-board inventory
- Review Equipment Team's service reports to ensure accuracy, professionalism and timely completion
- Practice fiscal responsibility through improvement and innovation
- Assist in the implementation of company policies and procedures as needed
- Maintain a program for the inspection, maintenance, and replacement of P.P.E. and department- related equipment and arrange for repairs and replacements as needed, ensuring accurate records are kept
- Adhere to and support all safety policies and guidelines
- Perform other duties as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two (2) years of experience in a supervisory role with leadership skills and a focus on employee engagement
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Past work experience in water treatment, HVAC, plumbing, equipment maintenance, or related field
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and passion for customer service
- Attentive to detail and strong organizational skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 (specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Proficiency with ERP systems
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
- Ability to drive functional change through open communication, sharing of ideas, and setting goals focused on continuous process improvement
- Ability to maintain established policies and procedures, objectives, quality assessment, and safety standards
- Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Business, Manufacturing Engineering or related field
- Three 3 years of experience in a supervisory role
- Previous experience as an Equipment Supervisor or Manager
