We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive People Coordinator to manage end-to-end onboarding, background verification, and Internship Program coordination while also supporting office operations. This role is critical in ensuring a seamless employee experience from pre-joining through onboarding and supports cross-functional coordination with IT, vendors, and facilities.
The Work
Onboarding & Compliance
- Manage the complete onboarding process for new hires and interns.
- Conduct I-9 verifications and ensure all employment documentation is completed accurately and on time.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and new employees to ensure a smooth pre-joining and Day 1 experience.
Background Verification
- Oversee the background verification process for all new hires globally.
- Collaborate with and manage our current background verification vendor.
- Monitor and track BGV reports, flag exceptions, and escalate as needed
IT Coordination
- Liaise with the IT team to ensure timely provisioning and delivery of laptops and other IT assets for new joiners.
Internship Program & Campus Engagement
- Coordinate internship onboarding, engagement, and offboarding.
- Support logistics and coordination for career fairs and university events.
- Act as a point of contact for interns and provide support throughout their tenure.
HR Administration
- Manage office supplies and pantry inventory to ensure availability at all times.
- Handle courier and mailroom services – incoming and outgoing.
- Maintain relationships with office vendors and service providers for timely service delivery.
The Must-Haves
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.- 1–3 years of experience in onboarding coordination and HR operations.
- Working knowledge of background verification processes and employment documentation.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with HRIS and ticketing tools preferred.
