Job Role:
The QA Lead has full responsibility for leading and overseeing the QA testing for complex projects in support of the VWGoA business. They are responsible for the on-time delivery of all QA-related deliverables, including the QA Estimate, End-to-End Test Plan, Test Cases, RTM, Defect Management, Test Results, and Production Deployment Approval.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading and overseeing the QA testing for complex projects.
- Responsible for the on-time delivery of all QA-related deliverables.
- Hands-on testing and test lead experience in new and legacy computing architectures and environments.
- Solid background in front-end as well as backend testing.
- Strong ETL experience, with advanced SQL as well as API testing.
- Experience with leading test automation efforts.
- Experience with leading performance testing efforts.
- Strong verbal and written communications skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills.
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
- Thorough knowledge of QA management tools, such as JIRA.
