Required Skills Splunk, Splunk Administrator, Universal Forwarder, SDLC (Waterfall and Agile), AWS, Strong oral and written communication skills, Ability to plan and prioritize work and meet project deadlines
Responsibilities Description:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing large enterprise Splunk infrastructure with experience in automating Splunk deployments and experience overseeing and managing a team for 3 to 5 Splunk admins.
Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and maintain various components of Splunk enterprise, like forwarders (universal and heavy), search heads, indexer, deployment manager, license master etc. on RHEL systems on cloud environment
Configure and monitor data injection and app deployment to Splunk
Work with Users to create reports and dashboards
Promote changes created by developers through the SDLC and into the production
Manage Splunk access following project s security requirements
Monitor and report health of Splunk
Maintain system availability and troubleshoot problems
Find out areas of improvements
Establish best practices and standards
Define, track, and maintain system configuration documents and standards
Active Directory integration
Experience in managing and migrating Splunk in containers
