Sports / General Assignment Reporter WantedThe Rocket Miner, a bi-weekly newspaper covering a large county in RockSprings, Wyoming, is seeking a creative and energetic sports / general newsassignment reporter to join our team immediately.The ideal candidate will possess exceptional written and oral communicationskills, attention to detail and organization and the ability to manage multipleprojects simultaneously. The ideal candidate should also possess a strongwillingness to work in a team-focused environment and have the ability to buildrelationships with sources inside the local sports community.The successful applicant’s main duties will include covering local sporting eventsthroughout the county and writing feature stories. Covering other local news asassigned is also expected but is not the primary focus of this position. Posting onour website and social media is expected.
