Job Summary
Apiary Social Club is a new and buzzing membership-only cigar and cocktail lounge. We are seeking an experienced craft cocktail Bartender to join our hospitable team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service in an upscale, elevated environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, maintaining the bar area, and ensuring that guests have a memorable experience.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with members, taking orders, and delivering drinks promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Work with teammates to execute upscale service during events for members.
- Monitor inventory levels of liquor, mixers, and garnishes; assist in ordering supplies as needed.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety standards.
- Accurately use POS systems; process payments efficiently.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff during events such as banquets to ensure seamless service.
- Stay updated on drink trends and menu offerings to provide recommendations to guests.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
- Experience in fine dining setting is preferred.
- Able to build rapport with members and their guests
- Effective communicator to ensure operational flow amongst teammates.
- Knowledge of hospitality service operations and hosting events.
- Proficiency in bartending techniques, including brewing methods for craft beverages.
- Familiarity with POS systems for processing orders and payments efficiently.
- Understanding of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
