Fire Alarm Service Manager

Job Summary:
The Fire Alarm Service Manager will manage the installation, maintenance, and repair of fire alarm systems, ensuring exceptional service delivery and compliance with all safety regulations. This role includes supervising a team of skilled technicians, resolving technical issues, and coordinating small projects, including timelines, budgets, and resources.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Team Management:

• Lead, supervise, and mentor a team of fire alarm technicians.
• Conduct performance evaluations and implement training programs to enhance team capabilities.
• Develop and manage schedules to effectively allocate resources and meet service demands.

2. Service Operations:

• Oversee the installation, inspection, testing, and maintenance of fire alarm systems.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and national fire safety regulations and standards.
• Address technical challenges and promptly resolve customer inquiries.

3. Project Management:

• Plan, execute, and oversee small-scale fire alarm system projects.
• Coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure project milestones are met.
• Monitor project progress, budgets, and timelines, making adjustments as needed.

4. Customer Relations:

• Foster strong client relationships by understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions.
• Prepare and present service proposals and project plans to clients, ensuring alignment with their expectations.

5. Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain comprehensive records of service activities, project milestones, and compliance documentation.
• Provide regular performance updates to senior management, highlighting key service metrics and project statuses.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; certifications in fire alarm systems (e.g., NICET, NFPA) are highly preferred.
• Proven experience in fire alarm service management or a related leadership role.
• In-depth knowledge of fire safety codes, standards, and regulations.
• Demonstrated project management experience, particularly with small-scale initiatives.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Technical aptitude with the ability to diagnose and resolve system issues.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.
