Core Responsibilities
- Contributes to the design and implementation of custom network solutions for existing and potential customers. Follows best-practice industry standards to provide a network design which is functional, scalable and secure.
- Supports the Emerging Wireless and TPX team to design, document and implement customer pilots and provide support for customer testing as required regarding key wireless industry trends such as 5G, neutral host, private networks, IoT or fixed mobile convergence.
- Primary focus on cloud design and implementation for scalable and reliable Cloud infrastructure and systems to support multiple authentication and authorization platforms for client and its customers.
- Develops, documents and maintains processes and procedures related to design, implementation, maintenance and operations of various wireless networks.
- Follows and enforces documented processes and procedures to meet established compliance requirements.
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable Cloud infrastructure and systems to support multiple authentication and authorization platforms for and its customers.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts and tooling to reduce manual tasks and improve efficiency in managing infrastructure.
- Implement and manage monitoring solutions to proactively identify and resolve issues. Assist incident response efforts and post-mortems to ensure continuous improvement.
- Analyze system performance metrics and work on tuning, optimization, and troubleshooting of applications and infrastructure.
- Ensure the security and compliance of infrastructure and applications. Implement best practices for secure deployments, monitoring, and security incident response.
- Offer support for systems and network troubleshooting related to applications and client teams.
- Working knowledge of various Vendor routers, switches, firewalls, SDWAN appliances and wireless devices to include; Cisco, Meraki, Fortinet, Juniper, Aerohive, Mist and Cradlepoint is a plus
- Strong technical documentation skills, to include creating network diagrams, operations and maintenance procedures, and technical presentations.
- Strong verbal skills, to communicate effectively with both engineering and business teams, ensuring clarity and alignment.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor s degree in engineering, Computer Science or related field
- 7 years of experience in network design, implementation, installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of complex networks in the wireless industry.
- 5 years experience designing, deploying, and operating Cloud infrastructure.
- Deep understanding of networking, firewalls, Linux/Unix systems, and system architecture.
- Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or similar.
- Strong experience with Cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure.
- AWS certified and prepared to take Security test .
- Knowledge in CyberSecurity best practices: endpoint security, vulnerability management, data encryption, credential rotations, access control.
- Must be able to report to the Office in Philadelphia 4 days a week
- Additional Qualifications: Expertise in containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, Concourse, Gitlab CI or similar.
- Experience with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Elastic Search, or similar. Experience with AuthN/AuthZ protocols like SAML, OIDC, OAuth.
