Position Description

Apis Innovation is seeking a Field Service Technician who will frequently travel to customer sites to install and service devices, interface with customers, and check the performance of the Apis system. Most travel will occur around the listed location, with opportunities to also travel around the country.

Position Duties

• Interact with team members and customers, utilizing strong customer service skills.
• Travel to customer sites to install and service devices, interface with customers, and check the performance of the Apis system.
• Provide feedback to management to improve operational efficiency.
• Collect and interpret field data; communicate observations and technical data verbally and in writing.
• Operate industrial environmental control systems.
• Work both in a team and independently.
• Work both indoors and outdoors throughout the year in varying weather conditions.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Experience working with landfill gas, in the solid waste industry, or other relevant environmental specializations.
• Efficient with and the ability to operate test equipment such as measuring devices, electrical meters, etc. (training to be provided).
• Self-motivated, willingness to learn new skills, good work ethic, and overall positive attitude.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office - Word and Excel.
• Ability to read maps, construction plans, engineering specifications, industry handbooks, and diagrams.
• Valid Driver's license required, with a safe driving record.
• Meet physical requirements for driving (pick-up truck, ATV, and UTV), walking or driving over rough terrain and steep slopes, lifting and carrying equipment (up to 50 lbs.), operating electric tools (drills, saws, etc.), using hand tools (screwdrivers, wrenches, hammers, etc.), and operating under varying weather conditions.

Compensation

• Wage Range: Where required by law, Apis provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The pay rate for this role is $40,000-65,000. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position is also eligible for incentive compensation based on individual performance.
