Days : Sunday, Monday & Thursday
The Allied Therapy Technician provides individual and group therapies (music, art, movement, recreation, occupational, vocational, and combinations thereof) and other services and activities to assigned youth under the supervision of a Licensed Therapist.

Summary of Essential Duties :
Provide six (6) hours per youth per week of programming per weekProvide Allied activities that are based on cognitive and emotional needs of the child in the milieu and require identified outcome measuresFacilitate structured, guided, and participatory programs and activities in nature such as, but not limited to yoga, movement, music, art therapy, vocational and other individual and / or group therapies within the specialized modalities necessary to meet client needsAllied activities must be directly related to the youth's treatment planning needsAllied therapies may occur both on grounds and within the communityDemonstrate competency in the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to meet clients' psychological and socialIdentify changes in clients' clinical status and communicate changes to the treatment team, as necessary.Interact professionally and respectfully with clients, families, and staff in performing dailyQualifications : Bachelor's degree in psychology, Social Work, Human Services, or related field and a minimum of three years of experience working with the youth served
