Hiring Part-time Life Skills Worker II | Youth Care Workers to work directly with adolescents at our residential facility Abraxas I , located in the heart of the Allegheny National Forest.
As a Life Skills Worker II | Youth Care Worker , you will supervise and interact with clients, teach responsible living skills, and document services as you help BUILD BETTER FUTURES .
Wage : $19.38 per hour
Job Type : Full-time
Shift : 3pm - 11pm
Our workforce program provides additional opportunities for compensation outside of the 40-hour work week where a staff member may earn up to $300 per 4-hour shift.
Overtime opportunities available.

In this role, you will :
- Provide direct supervision, leadership, and serve as a role model to clients while interacting in a therapeutic and meaningful manner.
- Implement the daily activity schedule and structure and coordinate client activities, such as Family Night, Structured Recreation, etc.
- Facilitate and document various psycho-educational groups via standardized curricula.
- Conduct scheduled and random head counts to provide effective people security.
- Assist with mentoring and on-the-job training of newer team members.
- Support the Abraxas philosophy and mission and promotes the Seven Key Principles of care.
