🚀 The Role
We’re on the hunt for a Sr. Accountant who’s ready to dive in and make waves. You’ll help us tackle real-world challenges, bring fresh ideas to the table, and be a key part of our growing Finance team. In this role, you'll be part of an energetic and committed Finance team that is passionate about supporting the entire organization and facilitating profitable growth. You will be a key member of the team, responsible for performing various accounting functions including the monthly close, financial statement preparation, and related analysis. The ability to be strategic while also being detail-oriented is essential to success in this role.
What You’ll Do
✨ Support the Controller in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
✨ Manage full-cycle General Ledger entries and account reconciliations using NetSuite, Airbase, and Excel.
✨ Prepare and reconcile A/P and A/R entries, present proposed payables, and review receivables with leadership weekly.
✨ Lead accounting for cash and prepaid expenses.
✨ Develop, enhance, and document accounting SOPs to improve internal controls.
✨ Collaborate across departments on accounting projects and process improvements (e.g., procurement process enhancements).
✨ Provide documentation support for audits and investor reviews.
✨ Partner on system/process improvements and provide oversight/training to junior staff.
✨ Take on expanded responsibilities including international subsidiary close, cost accounting, and payroll oversight.
✨ Conduct variance analyses and financial statement analytics with clear explanations for management.
✨ Assist with revenue accounting close procedures, including deferred revenue.
✨ Support special projects, financial/administrative tasks, and other duties as assigned.

🙌 What We’re Looking For
We’re not into laundry lists of “must-haves.” But if you check off a few of these, let’s talk:
✅ A bachelor’s degree in Business with a focus in Accounting (strongly preferred); an MBA or Master’s in Accounting is a plus.
✅ 3 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a fast-paced, growing environment is required.
✅ Proficiency in NetSuite, Airbase, and Excel (including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs); Experience with a similar tier-two ERP and spend management system may be considered in place of NetSuite and Airbase
✅ Experience working in a SaaS and/or IoT company is a plus
✅ Excellent communication skills with a strong internal and external customer service mindset
