Job Title: Real Estate Investments Analyst

Seeking to build on its legacy, the New York office is hiring a Real Estate Investment Analyst to grow the firm’s US Real estate practice include it’s Build-to-Rent (BTR) business and establish new business lines in real estate. With exposure to all parts of the deal life cycle, you will gain unmatched experience in your first year. Analysts will focus their efforts on underwriting, diligence, closing, asset management, debt financing and disposition of assets and play a key role in the firm’s broader U.S. expansion.
The Real Estate Investments Analyst will receive robust and comprehensive experience in analyzing new opportunities, securing financing, optimizing asset performance, and exercising their entrepreneurial mindset in an environment where the best ideas win.
Job Summary
- Underwrite new equity investments (financial analysis and modeling, joint venture and debt structuring, development modeling)
- Perform in-depth market research and asset due diligence, draft investment memorandums
- Track investment performance, prepare quarterly valuations and internal reports
- Develop deep understanding of existing credit agreements
- Track compliance with lender covenants, maintain and expand lender relationships
- Assist in negotiation of purchase and sale, development, and financing agreements
- Keep up with capital markets trends and economic indicators to inform asset-level and portfolio strategies
- Oversee cross-team coordination of acquisition, disposition, and financing transactions through to close
- Coordinate with finance and asset management teams in management and oversight of working capital needs; lead regular funding draws with lenders
- Assist with special projects and internal ad hoc requests as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics or STEM with an outstanding record of academic achievement required
- Minimum of 1 year experience in real estate investment, private equity, investment banking or management consulting experience; demonstrated underwriting experience in acquisition, asset management, development and/or financing transactions strongly preferred
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office especially Excel and PowerPoint
- ARGUS experience preferred
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work with large data sets and leverage analytical tools effectively
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Self-starter comfortable in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment with evolving roles and responsibilities
- Strong problem-solving skills and demonstrated ability to push toward constant improvement
Salary Range: $110,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience
