Job Description:
APL Logistics is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for managing inventory levels, operating forklifts and other equipment, loading and unloading trucks, maintaining a clean and organized warehouse, assisting with shipping and receiving, and following safety procedures and guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory management: receive, store, and dispatch materials as needed
- Equipment operation: safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment as required
- Warehouse maintenance: maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment
- Shipping and receiving: assist with loading and unloading trucks, and processing shipments
- Safety procedures: follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics setting
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills and attention to detail
