FOH Manager - Summer Season

This is a summer position beginning mid May 2025

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Front of House Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in casual dining environments, showcasing strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. This role is pivotal in ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests while effectively managing the front-of-house staff.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all front-of-house activities, ensuring high standards of service and hospitality.
• Manage shift operations, ensuring staff remains on task and service flows smoothly
• Oversee food safety practices to maintain compliance with health regulations.
• Train staff on service techniques, menu knowledge, and customer engagement.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery and address any service issues.
• Maintain a clean and organized front-of-house environment.
• Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Monitor inventory levels of supplies related to the front of house, communicating need as necessary.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a management role within casual dining or hotel settings.
• Strong leadership abilities with a focus on team development and motivation.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in the hospitality industry.
• Experience in supervising staff in a fast-paced environment, ensuring efficiency and quality service.
• Familiarity with bar operations and corresponding product is preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
