Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. As a Janitor, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in our facilities. Your role will involve performing a variety of cleaning tasks to ensure a safe and sanitary environment for employees and visitors.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify supervisor when restocking is needed
- Follow established safety procedures and guidelines while performing cleaning tasks
- Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel
- Assist with setting up and breaking down rooms for meetings or events as needed
- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding cleanliness and safety standards
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in custodial or janitorial work preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and equipment is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
