Duties
- Maintain DDD full licensure for all residential programs.
- Develop and oversees new residential programs in accordance with DDD/DHS licensing standards.
- Develop and manage programs' budgets effectively to support programs.
- Devise budgets and ensure the budget is adhered to, throughout fiscal year.
- Maintain positive and resourceful representation of APluscare in the community in the best interest of individuals served.
- Link/match individuals served with appropriate benefits and resources in the community.
- Develop proposals for research and facilitate staff and program development.
- Advocate and protect the best interest of individuals served in all aspects of their lives.
- Oversee all areas of the residential programs, including housing, and maximize individualized care, as well as supports and services within the programs.
- Supervise, hire, and train residential program staff in accordance with APluscare standards, policies and procedures.
- Monitor the effectiveness and progress of all care and support plans within the programs.
- Ensure staff and program compliance in relation to adherence to APluscare policies and procedures.
- All other duties as assigned by APluscare.
- A bachelor's degree in health care administration or related field with at least 5 years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities. Master's degree preferred.
- Employee must cooperate with the licensee and department staff in any inspection or investigation
- Employee must successfully complete and demonstrate proficiency in all areas of required training.
- Valid Driver's License
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Handles detailed, complex, and specialized concepts and problems, balancing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- The ability to effectively communicate (orally and written) and interact with others, including diverse, inter-disciplinary, cross-functional teams
- The ability to read, concentrate and learn
- Physical requirements include: sitting, standing, lifting up to 50lbs, and computer work for long periods of time
- Driving and travel locally and between agency sites and other required locations
- Support and maintain all corporate policies, procedures, and quality and confidentiality standards
