Program ManagerLocation: East Brunswick and Central New JerseyPosition Responsibilities:- Coordinate Individualized Developmental Plans (IDT) meetings and ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Supervise and train Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide high-quality support services.
- Develop and manage staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage for shifts and events.
- Conduct monthly fire evacuation drills and maintain accurate records in the fire safety log.
- Maintain compliance with all applicable Department of Developmental Disabilities (DDD) licensure requirements for assigned programs.
- Provide training, support, transportation, and assistance to enable individuals to complete daily routines safely and productively.
- Monitor the well-being of individuals served and report concerns to supervisors.
- Schedule medical appointments and ensure timely follow-up with healthcare providers.
- Ensure program vehicles are safe, well-maintained, and comply with regulatory standards.
- Adhere to APluscare policies and procedures at all times.
- Implement and maintain accurate program documentation, as assigned by management.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field; minimum 2 years of experience working with developmental disabilities preferred.
- Collaborate with the licensee and department staff during inspections or investigations.
- Successfully complete and demonstrate proficiency in required training areas.
- Hold a valid NJ Driver's License.
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Perform physical tasks requiring pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
