Description

We are seeking a local candidate for this role! This position offers a flexible, hybrid schedule with availability to work from home on Monday and Friday.

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Business Development Growth Manager – Projects / M&A to join our Business Development team. The role will be responsible for identifying and capitalizing on growth opportunities, developing long-term strategies, and driving key initiatives that support our business objectives. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership, analytical, and strategic skills, with a proven track record of successfully scaling businesses in competitive markets.

The day in the life of a Business Development Growth Manager...

  • Strategic Growth Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive business growth strategies aligned with company goals, focusing on both short-term and long-term revenue and margin generation.
  • Market Analysis: Lead market research efforts to identify new business opportunities, trends, and areas for expansion. Monitor industry developments to stay ahead of market shifts and competitor activity.
  • Business Development: Drive the acquisition of new clients, partnerships, and markets by identifying high-value opportunities and cultivating relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, merchandising, accounting, IT and operations teams to ensure seamless execution of growth initiatives.
  • Revenue Generation: Lead efforts to increase company revenue, optimizing pricing models, sales channels, and lead generation strategies. Establish and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) for revenue growth.
  • Financial Management: Oversee budgeting and forecasting related to growth initiatives, ensuring a strong return on investment (ROI) for business development activities.
  • Customer Experience & Retention: Enhance customer engagement through the development of targeted initiatives that improve customer satisfaction and long-term loyalty.
  • Leadership Reporting: Provide regular reports and updates to senior leadership regarding growth strategies, market performance, and opportunities for improvement.

Qualifications


Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field required. MBA or advanced degree preferred.

Experience:

  • 8 years of experience in business development, strategic planning, or management required
  • Proven track record of driving growth and leading business expansion efforts within a competitive market.
  • Strong analytical, financial, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Exceptional leadership abilities, with experience managing teams and building high-performing cross-functional collaborations.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence key decision-makers.
  • Innovative thinker with a passion for scaling businesses and identifying new revenue streams.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to take calculated risks and manage uncertainty.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing business conditions.

Computer Skills:

  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, Jira)
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
