Patient Population: Neonates to Geriatrics
Certifications Required: BLS, ARRT, ARRT (R)(CT)
General Skills and Work Setting Requirements: Inpatient and Outpatient Work Settings; Follow provided Piedmont Protocols and Policy to Perform CT Scans on IP, ER and OP Patients. Start IV’s, consent Pts, and provide excellent Patient care. Maintain a positive and productive work environment with the current team of Technologist, Nurses, Doctors and Transporters.
Ratio / Census: 4 Rooms with average caseload of 12-24 per day. Piedmont Henry is a Level 3 Trauma Hospital with 237 beds, 59 treatment areas in the ED and a substantial level of Stroke Alerts.
Unit Systems: Work on Siemens and Philips CT Scanners, Epic Medical Records and Fuji PACs.
Scrub Color: Gray
RTO: MAX 7 days
Weekends: Every weekend (S, S, M)
Floating: Within facility if needed
Call Requirements: 8 Days Total - will be given at least 2 weeks notice; unit will do their best to set up full call schedule within the first week of the assignment.
Holidays: If one major holiday falls in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays. If three major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays.
