Key Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough patient assessments and triage in an emergency setting.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor and document patient progress and response to interventions.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans.
- Provide patient and family education on health conditions and care plans.
- Respond effectively to emergencies and critical situations.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emergency procedures and best practices.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Emergency Department (ED) setting.
- Active Massachusetts RN License required at time of submission.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification required.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification required.
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) Certification required.
- COVID-19 Vaccines Booster required at time of submission.
- 2024-2025 flu vaccine required at time of submission (declinations not accepted). If candidate does not have current flu vaccine, an attestation stating they will receive it prior to start will be accepted.
- Cannot have worked permanently or as a travel nurse for any Beth Israel facility within the past year.
- Facility is not accepting local candidates.
- Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
- Includes weekend and holiday rotation.
- The position is for a travel nurse; local candidates will not be considered.
- Pricing negotiations are permitted.
