12-hour Night Shifts (6:30 PM to 7:00 AM)

- Administer respiratory care services including oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, inhaled medication, airway clearance, and both invasive and non-invasive ventilation.
- Collaborate with attending physicians and the care team to provide quality care in accordance with established procedures.
- Perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) in emergency situations.
- Follow infection control, HIPAA, and social media policies.
- Maintain a professional and supportive work environment, focusing on teamwork and excellent patient outcomes.
- Engage in continuous quality improvement initiatives to enhance clinical care and patient experiences.
- Knowledge of respiratory care modalities, therapies, equipment, and medications.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in computer skills including data entry and electronic medical documentation.
- Ability to read, write, and follow flow chart protocols.
- Education: Associate's degree or 2 years of relevant work experience.
- Experience: Less than 1 year of experience preferred.
- Certification/Licensure:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire or transfer.
- Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) by the State of Texas Medical Board.
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) from the National Board for Respiratory Care.
