Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Required Certifications:
- ACLS
- BLS
Required Qualifications:
- Current NY State Registered Nurse (RN) License
- 1 year of Medical-Surgical (Med-Surg) RN experience preferred
- Baccalaureate degree in Nursing preferred
- ANCC-Med/Surg certification preferred
- Must maintain all required certifications
Job Description: Seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) for their Med Surg unit. This is a 13-week contract with 36 hours per week.
Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care in a Medical-Surgical (Med-Surg) setting
- Work 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- Ensure the highest level of patient care and safety
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide optimal care
- Maintain accurate patient records using the EpicCare Inpatient EMR system
Additional Notes:
- Minimum of 1 year of Medical-Surgical RN experience preferred.
- BLS certification is required, but once ACLS is obtained, BLS renewal is not required.
- NY License is required to be considered for this position.
