Registered Nurse – Med Surg (Neuro Medicine) – Night Shift | $2,000/Weekly
Location: Wilmington, NC
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Start Date: May 5, 2025
Pay: $2,000/week (based on 36 hours)
Job Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients with neuro-related and general medical conditions
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in coordination with the healthcare team
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Monitor and document patient condition, symptoms, and progress
- Maintain accurate medical records using EPIC
- Respond to emergency situations appropriately and efficiently
- Participate in unit-based meetings and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement
- Float to other units as required
- Provide care with a focus on patient safety and teamwork
Qualifications:
- Active RN license (state or compact)
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a Medical-Surgical unit
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment and float between units
- NIH Stroke Certification (preferred)
- Prior neuro experience (preferred)
- Experience or willingness to learn charge nurse responsibilities (preferred)
