- High School Diploma/GED
- 2 years’ experience years direct experience in microcomputer hardware and software operation, management, and repair
- 2 years’ experience working with computers hands on/in field
- Experience with customer service and great communication skills
- Network certification
- Executes work requests for microcomputer hardware, software, and peripheral equipment needs initiated by end users. This may include assigning tasks to microcomputer technicians, performing installations, end user training.
- Defines and coordinates preventative maintenance activities related to microcomputers.
- Assists in the definition and coordination of microcomputer configuration standards.
- Maintains an inventory of all microcomputer equipment, including peripheral devices.
