What are the responsibilities and job description for the Trauma Registrar position at APN Software Services Inc?
Responsibilities :
Collect analyze and input trauma patient data into the Trauma One Registry.
Ensure accurate and timely data abstraction for trauma accreditation and compliance.
Apply ICD10 AIS08 and AIS15 trauma coding to cases.
Maintain compliance with state and national trauma registry guidelines.
Collaborate with the trauma team on performance improvement initiatives.
Qualifications :
Recent experience with EPIC EMR and Trauma One Registry required.
Strong knowledge of ICD10 AIS08 and AIS15 trauma coding required.
Experience in a Level I or II Trauma Center preferred.
Ability to work independently in a remote setting while maintaining productivity.
Certified Specialist in Trauma Registries (CSTR) certification preferred.
