Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Assistant Manager to join our team. Responsibilities
- Assist in managing daily store operations while ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Drive retail sales by actively engaging with customers, understanding their needs, and recommending appropriate products.
- Support recruiting efforts by identifying potential candidates and assisting in the hiring process.
- Manage inventory control by overseeing stock levels, conducting regular inventory audits, and ensuring proper product placement.
- Collaborate with the management team to develop effective marketing strategies that enhance store visibility and drive traffic.
- Train and mentor team members on sales techniques, customer service standards, and operational procedures.
- Utilize POS systems for transactions, inventory tracking, and reporting purposes.
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment that reflects the brand’s image.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in retail sales or a similar customer-facing role is preferred.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Familiarity with wireless sales is a plus but not required.
- Excellent communication skills with an emphasis on customer service.
- Ability to manage inventory effectively and ensure stock accuracy.
- Proficient in using POS systems for transactions and inventory management.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong organizational skills.
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings and weekends as needed.
