Overview:
The HR Manager is a key leadership role responsible for developing, implementing, and managing human resources strategies and functions across the healthcare organization. This position oversees critical HR operations including talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation and benefits, compliance, performance management, and employee development, ensuring alignment with the company's mission and operational goals.
Reports to: Chief Operating Officer
Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
· Supports ensuring a smooth and welcoming onboarding experience for all new hires.
Employee Relations & Engagement
· Serve as a primary point of contact for employee relations issues, providing guidance and resolution in alignment with company policies and legal requirements.
· Develop and implement programs to foster a positive work environment and enhance employee engagement and retention.
· Conduct investigations and manage disciplinary actions as needed.
Compensation & Benefits Administration
· Oversee the administration of compensation structures and benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness and compliance.
· Analyze compensation data and market trends to provide recommendations.
· Manage benefits enrollment, changes, and inquiries.
Compliance & Policy Management
· Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, including healthcare-specific requirements (e.g., HIPAA compliance related to employee data).
· Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures.
· Oversee mandatory training programs related to HR compliance.
Performance Management & Development
· Manage the performance appraisal process, providing guidance to managers and employees.
· Identify training needs and oversee the development and implementation of employee training programs.
· Support leadership development and succession planning efforts.
HR Operations & Strategy
· Manage HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) to ensure data accuracy and efficient HR processes.
· Analyze HR metrics and trends to inform strategic decision-making and process improvements.
· Collaborate with leadership to align HR strategies with overall business objectives.
· Uphold confidentiality standards for all employee and company information.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
· 5 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, preferably within a healthcare setting.
· 1 years of experience in an HR management or supervisory role.
· Strong knowledge of employment law, compensation, benefits administration, employee relations, and recruitment.
· Experience with HRIS and payroll systems.
· Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
· Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
· Proven ability to improve HR processes and contribute to strategic initiatives.
· SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP or HRCI PHR/SPHR certification strongly preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $29.00 - $36.00 per hour
